Tonight, your union Bargaining Leadership Team responded to SDOC’s offers. We counter offered with asking for more money for advanced degrees, and a retention bonus for everyone who has served 10 years or longer, an additional ESE supplement to include Gifted teachers, four teacher workdays (one for each quarter), a 3.5% salary increase in salary (in conjunction with supplements), a one time payment of $1000.00 for all non-classroom teachers who did not receive the Governor’s bonus, and a Healthy School MOU to be shared with both SDOC and OCEA.
We have achieved getting SDOC to agree to look for a different 3rd party insurance service and jettisoning Aither/Evolutions. These are exciting actions as we continue to serve you. Stay tuned!!!
