OCEA and SDOC could not come to an agreement for ESP's and we will return to the bargaining table next month.
The district has agreed to pay all instructional employees the $2,000 supplement in the May 15 paycheck AND to continue to negotiate the COLA increase!
On February 16th, OCEA returned to the bargaining table with a proposal for a $2,000 non-recurring supplement and a 6.5% cost of living adjustment.
The Osceola County Education Association reviewed the budget and found where money for a Cost of Living Adjustment can come from.

The school district of Osceola County offered a one-time $500 payment for the Education Staff Professionals. At this time, OCEA has not accepted the offer.
