There are so many people and groups that a thank you is owed to for helping our organization be able to give back to our community. First AFT sponsored our books and posters, The City of Kissimmee sponsors the Boo on Broadway Event yearly and allowed us to participate, The School District of Osceola stored our books and delivered them as needed. (Thank you Scott Knoebel, Willie Cruz, and all those in the warehouse.) Big John’s loaned us a cart, tables and a tent. We had countless high school volunteers from Poinciana High School, Tohopekaliga High School, and PATHS. Our FEA leadership, President Andrew Spar, secretary/treasurer Nandi Riley, Director of Communications Kat Canfield, and Kendra, were there supporting us as always. Then there were the members who showed up after their school day, Helen Portuando, Carol Gonzalez, Amy Swann, Yokasta Cleto, Megan Pritchett, LaShanna Ward, Zhi Andino, Karen Pruitt, and retiree Felicia Smith. Kim Stevens along with her girls, Lara and Jamie never fail and worked all day. Our staff Celia and Stephanie have been working on this event for over a month and showed up yesterday at 8 o’clock ready to do the impossible. They did not stop all day long. Celia even had her husband, Mag, there helping all day long yesterday. Our organization is growing and giving back. We do so many positive things and we need to let our work shine!
