OCEA’s Executive Board is looking for members that are committed to helping others make a positive change in their lives through the power of unionization. Elections for Officers and Executive Board Members will take place on February 11, 2026. Nominations should be submitted to Kim Casto-Stevens and/or Susan Compton between December 3, 2025, and January 7, 2026.
Positions include President, Vice President of ESP, Treasure, Elementary East Representative, Elementary West Representative, Middle School Representative, High School Representative Alternative Site Representative, Multi-Level School Representative and ESP At Large (2 seats available). Pending the language change vote an Elementary Central Representative and K-8 Representative position will be available.
There are 9 positions plus the president, and 1 state delegate position for the NEA Representative Assembly in Denver, CO., July 2-7, 2026; 1 position plus the president for the AFT Representative Assembly in Washington, DC., July 16-19, 2026, and 48 positions plus the president available for FEA’s Delegate Assembly to be held online. All voters must be members in good standing for 30 days prior to the election. More details to come by email/mail.
