NEA Hurricane Ian Relief Fund

Last week I had the opportunity to travel to several of the counties that were most severely impacted by Hurricane Ian. Many of the FEA members I spoke to lost almost everything they owned. But what really stood out to me was the optimism I encountered and the selflessness of our members, who remain focused on helping their schools and their community heals from this disaster.

I’ve also heard from so many of you around the state who want to know how you can help your fellow educators in the impacted areas. In coordination with NEA Member Benefits, we have set up a Go Fund Me page exclusively for FEA members. Please consider donating; no amount is too small. Let’s show our union family we support them during these difficult times.
